Our main goal is to provide young people with equal opportunities to participate in the events, projects organized by our organization and our partners to try out new sports and activities they usually would not have an opportunity to do, to grow personally and professionally in safe non-formal learning contexts. Legaramlat is a non-profit non-governmental organization founded in Budapest, Hungary by active university students to promote active lifestyle, create opportunities for their peers to try sports like sailing and paragliding in which organization members are highly experienced.
We seek to show to young people that their world does not over with the walls of their communities, there are many different opportunities to get actively involved in Erasmus+ programme, to grow, learn, travel, get exposed to different cultures, try new things that they are usually deprived from.
Solving problems, whether they are interpersonal, social, or organizational, always represented a useful skill. According to the World Economic Forum (WEF) the top skills, employers will want the most are complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, people management, and coordinating with others. In this context young people need to develop these competencies to increase their chances in the labor market and be competitive. Improvisation theatre brings into play the intersection of roles, relationships, status, personal experiences, economic and social/cultural forces that require reframe, rename and redefine problems in new ways. It involves capitalize on what one has and make the most of it.
The methods that will be used in this project are non-formal participative methods such as teamwork, presentations, storytelling, learning by doing, and guiding young participants to explore and work together.
The objectives of the project are the following:
Through this project, we will create a safe learning environment for young participants coming from the partner countries to develop their competencies such as problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, teamwork useful for both personal and professional lives by using improvisation theatre.
This project is addressed to any young person aged 18-30 who is:
1. Motivated, eager to learn new skills, and willing to get actively involved in all stages of the project.
2. Passionate for personal development (self-confidence, creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork) using non-formal improvisation theater methods.
3. Ready to contribute to the dissemination plan and share with his/her community the privileges of a Youth Exchange of the Erasmus+ program.
NO high level of English is required to participate; moreover, the project will help in the development of English speaking skills. None of the participants or facilitators are native English speakers, so there is nothing to be afraid 😊
From each country, the partner organizations will try to maintain an equal number of boys and girls in order to achieve gender balance in our youth exchange. To be sure that gender discrimination or any other discrimination for that manner excluded, the whole agenda of activities was designed to be gender-neutral and not oriented in such a way that a specific skill set would be required or would create an advantage.

The participants will develop through our project trans-disciplinary competencies. They will increase their problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, teamwork competencies, and this will lead to a boost of their self-confidence in order to be more prepared for the employment realities. In addition, the competencies acquired will help them in their personal lives as well, being more capable to adapt to different social contexts and interact with new people. This translates also into better job perspectives and higher chances to adapt at the workplace.
Also, being an intercultural environment reuniting participants from five countries, they will get to know other cultures and be more culturally aware and understanding. In addition, the improvisation theatre and through methods used participants will have many interactions that will give them the chance to practice their English and improve another valuable skill required by employers. Through the sessions planned, the young people will develop their social and cultural awareness; learn how to interact in a nonformal context with other youths from a different country; find out how they can benefit in the future from the opportunities that appeared after the participation in this youth exchange. They will receive the Youthpass certificate which will reflect their learning process.
The youth exchange will take place in Mezobereny, a small town which lies in the Pannonian plain, very close to the Romanian border and about 200km away from the capital Budapest. More about the town you can find here.
For the accommodation, we will face the facility of Piknik Park Mezobereny – which has an area of 1600 square meters. The Leisure Center satisfies all our needs for learning, active recreation, and relaxation.
